A Land Rover dealership in Warminster, PA tried to charge me $200 to replace the front two running lights on my Discovery when all that was wrong was a blown fuse.
I’m also 90% sure that they were the reason my Jags transfercase grenaded. They replaced the sump gasket which requires you drop the transfercase to get to the last bolt, a month later it blows up, my guess is that they didn’t fill it correctly so it ran dry. I’m still pissed that I didn’t put two and two together until it was too late to do anything about it. That was an expensive learning experiance.

Well, there was the time that my aunt took her car to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and they took the oil out, but didn’t put any back in. So the engine grenaded and we took it back to tell them it was their fault. They said there was no way it was their fault, even though the security cameras recorded the whole thing.

It works now. I know when I worked at Iffy Lube I performed every requested service, and if it wasn’t able to be done (many potential reasons for this) it was removed from the invoice. That said they are still really pushy about selling extra services.

You know I paid myself good money to change that filter and I didn’t even change it! I’m never going to myself again!

I’ll bet myself was even drinking on the job!!

I only went there once. I was being lazy so I took it in. The next oil change I could barely get the oil filter off it was on so tight. And when I did get it off, the seal was severely deformed. They told me it was company policy to put it on that tight. I told them they were lucky they didn’t have to buy me a new engine. Never went back.

I know myself was. I think that shop has a 2 drink minimum.

Some guys were gorillas with stuff. I held myself to a much higher standard so everything I sent out was done to perfection. I was happy when a car came back and the filter had my signature on it because I knew that would be a quick and easy change.
